The Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle is heating up on The Bold and the Beautiful. Yesterday, the two women had a heart-to-heart about the situation they’re in. We have to say, we were just as taken aback as Brooke when Taylor said Ridge is in love with both of them.

Taylor’s not wrong, that’s clearly what’s going on, but her saying it aloud to Brooke before Ridge has said anything to his wife wasn’t a move we saw coming. Notably, Brooke really didn’t have much to say to that statement, but she’s aware of the truth of what Taylor’s saying whether she’s ready to acknowledge it or not.

Elsewhere, after Hope got her frustration out about Steffy’s meddling, Thomas was able to get her to see his and his sister’s point-of-view when it comes to their feelings about the triangle. Brooke isn’t the only hurt party here and never has been. They’re watching their mother go through the pain of losing their father every time he walks out the door to go back to Brooke.

Granted, Ridge is married and that should be cut and dry enough for the Forresters to stop trying to pull him away from Brooke, but he’s also waffling, that’s very much apparent. Someone’s going to get hurt and this time it might not be Taylor, that’s what Brooke is afraid of and that’s why we’re impatiently waiting for her to talk to the person she needs to speak to the most, her husband.

Lunch with Bill and Li was a bit of a snooze fest, so we’re going to bypass that storyline to focus on the triangle. Will we be getting more of that story before the week ends? Here’s what we know!

Yes, there is a new episode of The Bold and the Beautiful today. According to TV Guide, the following is set to happen:

Taylor makes a substantial request of Ridge. Brooke hurls accusations against Thomas.

Well, it looks like Brooke is still avoiding sitting down with Ridge to talk about what happened the previous night. And, she hasn’t stepped to Steffy either. Thomas is guilty of watching his sister interfere, yes, but Brooke really shouldn’t be expecting him to step in on her behalf. Why would he do that? They don’t even have a piece of relationship and she despises him.

We suspect Douglas is once again going to be put into this situation when he doesn’t belong in it, which is unfortunate. But Brooke has been convinced from the beginning that Thomas is using his son to drive a wedge between her and Ridge so he can put his parents back together. That’s not the case and considering Douglas wasn’t even at the Forrester dinner where Steffy intercepted her call, Brooke would be off base once more if she makes this accusation.

As for Taylor, we wonder if her request will be for Ridge to be honest with his wife. The family won’t be able sustain this amount of tension. If his choice is Brooke then he needs to be clear about that and stop giving Taylor mixed signals. He’ll also have to own that his relationship with Taylor will have to change accordingly.

But, if he does want to see where a relationship with Taylor might go, he needs to tell Brooke that and they need to figure out next steps. Either way someone is going to get hurt, that’s just a fact and he can’t keep running from it because he wants to keep things the way they are.

Ridge having his cake and eating it, too, isn’t going to work so something has to give. Either that something is his marriage or the closeness he shares with Taylor but he can’t have both. We doubt he’ll be making his decision today, but we can’t wait to see how Taylor’s request is handled.
