WEAPONS VIOLATION, 2021-12050057, N. Lynn Street, Wilson Boulevard. At about 4:08 am on December 5, the police received a report that a man fell asleep behind the steering wheel of the vehicle. Upon arrival, the police officer found the driving vehicle, contacted the only passenger sitting in the driver's seat, and clearly saw a gun in the passenger seat. After investigation, the suspect was arrested for drunk driving. When searching the vehicle in front of the trailer, ammunition was found. Ronald Booze, 45, of Accokeek, Maryland, was arrested and charged with a violent felony driving under the influence, refusing a breath/blood test, and possessing a firearm. He was detained unconditionally.

BURGLARY, 2021-12040009, block 1300 of S. Joyce Street. At around 12:18 am on December 4, the police received a burglary after receiving the report. Upon arrival, the police observed the male suspect in the closed enterprise and ordered him to leave. The suspect left the store through the front door and was detained without any accident. The investigation determined that the male suspect was suspected of entering a closed business through a secure back door and attempting to steal goods. Christopher Norfleet, 28, of Washington, DC, was arrested and charged with burglary with intent to theft.

BURGLARY, 2021-12050220 / 12050233 / 12050257, 3100 block of 10th Street N. / 1200 block of N. Irving Street. At around 7:07 pm on December 5, the police received a report of someone breaking in. Upon arrival, the police met with the informant, who stated that the suspect had fled the scene on foot. The radio was monitored, and soon afterwards, the police were sent to report a burglary in the 1200 block of N. Irving Street, where the suspect was found. The investigation determined that the victim had left her apartment for about five minutes, and upon returning, noticed that the contents of her backpack were scattered on the floor and that her laptop had been tampered with. During the investigation, the victim of another burglary reported that their apartment was broken into, their guns were stolen, and that there were items in their homes that did not belong to them. During the search and arrest, the stolen gun was recovered. Deangelo Michael, 30, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was arrested and charged with the felony of theft (x3), carrying a hidden weapon, and possessing a firearm.

ROBBERY, 2021-12030180, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. At about 3:49 pm on December 2, the police received a report that a sexual assault had occurred recently. Upon arrival, when it was determined that the teenage female victim was walking in the area, two known teenage male suspects approached her and asked her to use the air chamber. The victim refused, putting the air bag on her, and then the suspect allegedly touched her inappropriately. When the witness approached, the suspect fled the scene on foot. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2021-12040032, 1300 block of Wilson Avenue. At around 1:40 am on December 4, the police received a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, the police met with the victim. The victim said that he was near Clarendon when he entered what he believed was a shared vehicle. Subsequently, the driver in the accident asked the victim to hand over the wallet and mobile phone with the undisclosed amount of cash to the victim, and then drove away at high speed with the victim's belongings. Unable to determine the exact location of the incident. There is no description of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY (Late), 2021-12050068, Columbia Pike 5000 block. At around 5:40 am on December 5th, the police were dispatched to report a late robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that around 4:00 in the morning, the unidentified male suspect entered the store, went behind the counter to grab the goods, and then tried to leave without paying. An employee tried to prevent the suspect from leaving, and then a brief battle over the goods occurred. Suspect 1 pushed the employee away, and then fled the scene on foot with suspect 2 who was waiting outside the store during the robbery and the unpaid goods. At approximately 5:32 in the morning, the second suspect entered the store, walked behind the counter to grab the goods, and then tried to leave without paying. Two store employees tried to prevent the second suspect from leaving, and there was a brief struggle before all three of them fell to the ground. The second suspect then fled the scene on foot with unpaid goods. The suspect was described as a burly black male, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a green hoodie, black shorts, black socks and black and white shoes. The second suspect was described as a black male wearing a red hoodie under a black fluffy jacket, dark pants and black and white soles. The investigation is ongoing. 

BURGLARY (night), 2021-12040278, 5500 block of Columbia Parker. At around 11:14 pm on December 4, the police received a report that someone had broken in. Upon arrival, it was determined that at around 9:30 p.m., the victim returned to the residence and determined that the unidentified suspect had entered the apartment and tampered with his safe. No items were reported as stolen, and no other items were reported as damaged. There is no description of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (night), 2021-12050152, 400 block of N. Thomas Street. At about 2 pm on December 5, the police received a burglary after receiving the call. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim returned home at 10:19 PM on December 4 and found that the door of his apartment was open. Investigation determined that the house had been rummaged and valuables including two guns were stolen. There is no description of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2021-12050258, 4400 block of 31st Street S. At around 11:19 pm on December 5th, the police discovered a burglary after receiving the report. Upon arrival, it was determined that the unidentified suspect forcibly entered the residence and stole various items, including electronic products and debit cards. There is no description of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2021-12060021, S. Carlin Springs Road unit block. At around 2:21 am on December 6, the police received a report to the police. Upon arrival, it was determined that the two suspects forcibly entered a business by breaking the front glass door. After entering, they stole various commodities and then fled the scene on foot. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and a black ski mask. The second suspect was described as a white male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, multi-colored pants and a black ski mask. The investigation is ongoing.
