SINGAPORE-A bus captain begged a passenger to stop calling in front of the camera.

On Wednesday (November 10), the Singapore bus driver community on Facebook page shared a video of the incident with a text saying: “The bus driver stopped the bus on Orchard Road and told the lady not to call because the bus driver mentioned that he had already Remind passengers about it several times."

Someone heard the bus captain say: "I am not yelling at you; I am just reminding you. Please. I have reminded you many times."

He faced a passenger with his back to him, and seemed to continue to call.

According to Stomp, the bus driver opened his car door, walked up to the lady, and told her the rules.

"When she called, he scolded her for nearly a minute," a witness said.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the SBS Transit service 162M on Monday night (November 8).

In response to this incident, members of the online community expressed appreciation for the efforts of the bus captain. “The bus captain reacted cleverly and intervened. I have seen bus captains barking at commuters in a rude manner and stopped using their phones,” said a netizen.

"Maybe this passenger speaks loudly until the driver can't concentrate on driving," Facebook user Lik Ren Tian commented. "It's fine to speak quietly. As long as you keep a soft tone."
