On Saturday, the Orange County Football Club defeated the San Antonio Football Club in a penalty kick to win the Western Conference title of the United Football League Championship.

Sean Okoli scored the final goal and Orange County won the shootout 5-4 in front of 5,386 people at the Irvine Championship Football Stadium.

Seth Casiple, Dillon Powers, Ben Mines and Thomas Enevoldsen also scored in the Orange County (16-10-9) shootout.

Orange County will face Tampa Bay Rowdies (26-7-2) in the USL Championship finals at 5:30 pm on Sunday, November 28

Justin Dylan missed from the left in the fourth round of the penalty shootout, opening the door for Occoli to seal the victory.

After 120 minutes of the match, the two sides chased the score to 1-1 and entered a penalty shoot-out.

In the 39th minute, Brent Richards scored a long throw-in. Ronaldo Damus turned around and sent a spinning kick in the left post.

Richards' influence will be reflected throughout the supervision process. The right back has made several successful challenges, and he hopes to add offense in the transition.

The acclaimed theme in Orange County's eight consecutive unbeaten games was that three games with zero goals conceded at the end of the second half.

Connor Maloney's cross found Marcus Epps' header in the center of the penalty area, and his bid defeated Orange County goalkeeper Patrick Lakowski.

In the previous seven games, Orange County has only conceded one ball.

Orange County applied pressure at the end of the first overtime. When centre-back Michael Orozco hit the net, Jordan Farr was forced to jump to a stop and send the ball into the upper right corner.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
