A tarot card reader, whose son is an NYPD cop, was killed in a shocking shooting in Queens on Wednesday by a man who reportedly was a disgruntled customer who thought she was a “witch.” According to authorities, Anna Torres, 51, went to the front door of her two-story Ozone Park home to answer a knock at the door. When she opened the door, she was shot in the head, cops say. According to Deputy Chief Jerry O’Sullivan, the alleged shooter, Giuseppe Canzani, 41, fled but turned himself in about an hour later. Sources told the New York Post that Canzani told cops he shot Torres “because she was a witch” and that she had put a spell on him and cursed him. “If I tell you what’s going on with me you wouldn’t believe it,” he allegedly said. “Not for nothing, I am supposed to be dead already, that’s all I know. This woman, you guys will never understand. You would think I’m crazy.” Officers report that two of Torres’ family members were home at the time of the shooting.
