*MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 OF THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY BELOW!*

Turns out that not even The Umbrella Academy can stop a kugelblitz. After voting on whether or not to attempt to go to the Hotel Oblivion to try to stop the world from ending for the 500th time, the group decided to go ahead with Hargreeves' plan after Luther was found dead. And now the group is both out for revenge and answers. As expected, so much went down in the season 3 finale, and we're still trying to figure out what this means for a possible season 4.

Here is the ultimate break down of The Umbrella Academy season 3 finale.

We have to start with the biggest shock of them all, Hargreeves killed both Luther and Klaus. After having a short-lived reconciliation with his son, Hargreeves decides to take Luther down to give the group some motivation to head toward the Hotel Oblivion and try to find the seven bells. Klaus, who worked with Hargreeves this entire time to try to get him to reconnect with both The Umbrella and The Sparrow academies, is also killed when his father turns on him and closes the door toward the other world before he can make it out. Instead of waiting for the kugelblitz to take him, Klaus decides to kill himself instead by impaling himself on one of the horns of the taxidermy in the special hotel room.

Now on the other side of the door, the group realizes that Klaus never made it, with Hargreeves telling them to focus on the mission. It's then revealed that Klaus and Luther are together in the afterlife. Luther wants to go warn Sloane about Hargreeves, so he tries to get Klaus to revive back on Earth, but Klaus decides that he's done with going back there and the two start to fight.

Viktor, Allison, Ben, Five, Diego, Lila, Sloane and Hargreeves all manage to make it to the Hotel Oblivion safely, but they start to question the two deaths as they believe that Klaus should have been able to make it to the other side safely.

Hargreeves tells them to grieve later and that they're running out of time. He tries to figure out a way to get to the seven bells while Diego and Lila warn the rest of the group to not ring the hotel bell or risk another monster attack. In an effort to find the bells faster, Hargreeves shows them the sigil that they're looking for and they all split off into pairs to go searching for it. They all take the elevator to different floors and Hargreeves stays behind in the lobby.

Five and Viktor decide to confront Allison after Five remembers that she was the one who met up with Hargreeves and agreed to a special deal. Frustrated with how the conversation was going, Five decides to go on his own separate way but doesn't realize that the hotel is constantly changing and he is now on a different floor.

Viktor and Allison end up on the third floor, Five meets up with Ben and Sloane on the fifth floor, while Diego and Lila are both on the sixth floor. Back in the lobby, Hargreeves is surprised to find Klaus alive and well. Klaus confronts him for what he did and Hargreeves decides to knock him out to keep him from telling the others. In a fit of panic, Hargreeves rings the forbidden bell, waking up the monsters that lurk around.

Nope, especially when the monsters start to attack them all. Diego and Lila confront their guardian but realize that he has no weak spots so they run to an elevator. In a fit of rage, Sloane immediately starts attacking the samurai that's on her floor, while Ben and Five try to quickly come up with a plan to take it down.

Allison is immediately hurt after she is hit in the arm with an axe. Viktor tries to help her out and she tells him that she didn't know about this part of Hargreeves' plan and all she wanted was to make things right again. After seeing the guardian coming after them, they pass through two separate door frames and end up on different floors: Viktor is now on four, while Allison ends up on the ninth floor.

Diego and Lila exit the elevator on the fourth floor, where he immediately locks her in a closet in an effort to protect her and their baby. Lila becomes angry at this and tries to find a way to escape and help. Lila soon notices that Viktor is passing by and mimics his power to break down the door. They notice that the guardian is coming right at them, so they work together to take it down in one go.

Back on the fifth floor, Sloane figures out that there's a weak spot on the back of the guardians giving them a possible way to take them down. Their plan works and they are able to take down the first monster.

All the groups reunite again in the lobby where they're surprised to see Klaus again. He reveals everything that Hargreeves has done against them and they all try to confront him. Five notices something on the floor and decides to go up to the second floor to get a better look. Meanwhile, the group realizes that there is still one more guardian left.

Just as Five figures out that the sigil is the stars on the floor, the guardian begins to attack them, cutting off Five's arm in the process. The guardian almost attacks Sloane, but Luther surprises everyone by stopping it and sending it flying. Sloane and Luther have one final tearful goodbye before his projection from Klaus completely wears off.

Five tells the group again about the stars on the floor and they all quickly move to stand on them before the guardian gets back up again, however, Hargreeves warns Allison not to step on one leaving her confused. When Five blinks onto the last star, a ray of light connects the seven members standing on sigil together and the hotel's facade breaks down.

Much to Allison's surprise, Hargreeves get right to work on a special computer and he reveals that the hotel is really a machine created by whoever created the universe. The machine is using the particles inside their bodies to help fuel it as Hargreeves try to finish up re-creating the sigil on the computer. In a fit of rage over being betrayed, Allison takes a scythe and cuts part of Hargreeves' head off, killing him.

Allison realizes that Hargreeves completed the sigil and a special button comes up. Five warns her that they don't know what the button would do. Viktor almost attacks her, but Allison asks him to trust her. She clicks the button and it fades to black.

Nope, thankfully they gave us a little bit more to set up the final season. Allison is immediately seen back home where she is reunited with Claire in her bedroom. The only thing is that Patrick is now gone and now a young Raymond exists in this time.

The rest of the members of The Umbrella Academy and Ben step out of an elevator and are surprised to find themselves at The Obsidian Memorial Park. Luther also appears, however, without his half-ape body. Luther quickly notices that Sloane is not with them and tries to ask Five if he knows anything about where she might be. As they are about to start a fight, Five realizes he can't blink anymore and the rest of the group finds out that they've also lost their powers.

Five tries to come up with a new plan, but they all decide to go their separate ways and live out their new lives without powers. Little do they know that right above them, Hargreeves is seen on the top floor of a skyscraper looking down on them with his now-alive wife Abigail. The entire city is filled with Hargreeves-named buildings and the screen fades to black.

In a mid-credits scene, Ben can be seen riding a subway in Korea. However, it's not revealed if this is the first Ben that was with The Umbrella Academy or the Sparrow Academy Ben living a brand new life.

Well, we don't really know just yet. We're definitely crossing our fingers for a possible fourth season, but Netflix hasn't announced plans for it just yet. With a cliffhanger like that and a big fandom who is ready for anything, hopefully, they'll announce some good news about it soon!
