Welcome to today's daily photo! Here, we have an example of a semi-automatic rifle from the Standard Weapons Company G. These rifles were the initial products of Standard Arms in the early 1900s. This particular estimate was made somewhere in 1910. In addition to the G type, there is also an M type, which is a manual pump action. The M type obviously worked quite well in the early pumping action, but the semi-automatic model G's unreliable and bulky bad reputation made these guns a complete failure. Although the appearance of these guns is very unfinished, they do pay great attention to detail. The standard method of operation is to turn the gun upside down, press the button to open the bottom plate, throw in some ammunition, close the bottom plate, and then use the manual brass pump handle to put one of them into the gun chamber. From there, the gun is locked and ready to fire in a semi-automatic manner.

"Manufactured around 1910. There are some additional designs in stock."
